NEXT EMSV REGULAR MEETING
Sunday July 4th, 2.30pm to 5, at St Paul's Anglican Church, 2 Margaret St, Canterbury.
General playing / singing afternoon of mostly German multi part works for instruments and voices.
If you have a 4 to 8 part work that you would like workshopped let me know and I'll see if I have it.
Music will be announced in a about three weeks. All music will be provided and singers will be doubled by instruments.
Everyone welcome to join in, but only authentic style instruments can be played. The period will encompass ca 1550 to 1650.
The pitch will be A415.
Also there will be up to 30 minutes of performances. Members wishing to perform should advise Lyn Hawkins email@example.com of what they intend to perform, and its duration. Hurdy Gurdy and Psaltery

6 string Bass viol, hard case and bow. $5,500.
6-string bass viol by the Czech string instrument maker, Ceske, originally bought from The Early Music Shop in the UK 20 years ago. It has been fitted with "geared pegs" which makes tuning a dream.
